OAK GROVE, Ky. (WSMV) - The suspect in a murder at a Kentucky gas station in December was arrested Monday, according to the Oak Grove Police Department.

36-year-old Brian Lee Kerr, Jr., was wanted in connection to a fatal shooting at the Pilot Travel Center on Pembroke Oak Grove Road. On Dec. 28.

The suspect fled the scene in a stolen vehicle. He then reportedly drove to Humphreys County, TN.

Kerr was wanted out of Humphreys Co. and Maury County, TN for multiple charges including theft of over $10,000 and felon in possession of a firearm.

OGPD said Kerr was arrested after a pursuit with the Illinois State Police and other local law enforcement on Jan. 6.

A murder warrant for Kerr has been issued as he remains in custody, OGPD said.

“The Oak Grove Police Department wants to thank the Humphreys County Sheriffs Department for their assistances in this case and all Law Enforcement who helped capture Kerr,” said OGPD.
