NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - It came down to the final seconds in a matchup of Region 6-5A unbeatens on Friday night.

Centennial kicked a short field goal in the final seconds of the game to beat visiting Nolensville 17-14.

Both teams entered Friday’s game perfect 5-0 records and 1-0 in region play.

Beech 34, Hendersonville 14

Beech takes home the Mayor’s Trophy with a 34-14 victory at Hendersonville on Friday night.

The Buccaneers improved to 3-3 overall and 2-0 in Region 7-5A. The Commandos lost their first region game and fell to 4-2 and 1-1.

Gallatin 24, Green Hill 10

The Green Wave (4-2, 2-1) handed Green Hill (5-1,. 2-1) its first loss of the year in a Region 4-6A matchup in Mt. Juliet.

Gallatin, Green Hill and Lebanon are all now 2-1 in region play behind unbeaten Mt. Juliet (6-0, 4-0).

Gallatin goes on the road and hands Green Hill its first loss of the season.
