NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Tennessee Titans have announced the firing of General Manager Ran Carthon following the conclusion of the 2024 season.

Over the past two seasons, the Titans have a combined record of 9-25. Tennessee announced that head coach Brian Callahan will remain with the team.

The Titans went 3-14 in Callahan’s first season at the helm.

Titans controlling owner, Amy Adams Strunk, released a statement on social media on parting ways with Carthon.

“I’ve loved the time I’ve spent with Ran. He’s a talented football mind, a great man, and friend to everyone along his path,” Strunk said. “It’s impossible to ignore that our football team hasn’t improved over the past two years. I am deeply disappointed in our poor win-loss record during this period, of course, but my decision also speaks to my concern about our long-term future should we stay the course.”

The next big move for the Titans, outside of hiring Carthon’s replacement, will be picking first in the 2025 NFL Draft.
