FRA pulls away in the second half for win over Davidson Academy
The Panthers improve to 7-0 and are unbeaten in region play after the home victory.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Franklin Road Academy pulled away in the second half to pick up a 34-19 region win over visiting Davidson Academy in a battle of previously unbeaten teams.
The Panthers held a 6-3 lead at halftime before putting up an offensive explosion in the second half to improve to 7-0 and remain unbeaten in Division II-AA Middle Region play. FRA and CPA are the only teams without a loss in region play.

Ravenwood 24, Summit 7
Brentwood and Ravenwood remain on a collision course for the Region 6-6A play after both picked up wins on Friday night.
The Bruins (7-0, 3-0) visited Franklin, one of their oldest rivals, and was able to open things up in the second half for a 31-17 win. The Admirals remain winless on the season.
In Brentwood, the Raptors stayed perfect in region play with a win against visiting Summit.
Ravenwood improved to 6-1 overall and 3-0 in region play with the win. Summit (2-5, 1-2) remains in contention for a playoff spot.
Brentwood and Ravenwood each have one region game remaining on the schedule before their showdown on Oct. 27 that will likely decide the region championship.
Pearl-Cohn 49, Whites Creek 0
The Firebirds (7-0, 4-0) picked up their third straight shutout with a 49-0 win over Whites Creek in a Region 5-4A matchup.
Pearl-Cohn and Marshall County (6-1, 4-0) are the only unbeaten teams remaining in region play.
