United to offer flight to Columbus ahead of Tennessee playoff game
A McGhee Tyson Airport representative confirmed the flights to WVLT News Wednesday morning, saying United had slated a flight on Dec. 20 to Ohio and a flight back on Dec. 22.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - United Airlines will be taking Vol fans to Columbus ahead of Tennessee’s matchup against Ohio State.

The Vols are looking forward to the first playoff appearance in program history. It’ll also mark only the second time that Tennessee meets with Ohio State on the football field.
As for Ohio State, it’ll be the Buckeye’s sixth playoff appearance.
The game is slated for Saturday, Dec. 21 at 8 p.m.
