KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Tennessee’s Dylan Sampson was named AP’s SEC Offensive Player of the Year on Wednesday. It follows USA Today’s similar decision earlier in the week.

The running back had a historic season, totaling 22 rushing touchdowns and 132 points scored (the most at UT ever).

Sampson also led the SEC in almost all stats, including yards per game and touchdowns by a running back in SEC games.
