NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Vanderbilt said they will be having a fan bus for travel to the Birmingham Bowl.

The university announced they would be providing a fan bus along with two fan events that will take place in Birmingham.

The day before the game, ‘Dore fans in Birmingham will be able to enjoy “Commodore Happy Hour” from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Topgolf right next to Protective Stadium. The event will include a live edition of the Commodore Hour radio show, and tickets will get fans two drinks and appetizers along with complimentary parking at Topgolf.

The second event will be a tailgate before the game on Dec. 27. The tailgate will start at noon and will have a buffet meal and a full bar.

For fans who aren’t making the trip to Alabama early, a bus will be making the drive from Nashville on game day. The bus will leave the Vanderbilt campus on the morning of Dec. 27, head straight to the game and return that same night.

The fan bus’s departure time will allow for them to make it to the tailgate in Birmingham. Seats are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

For those who can’t make the game, it will air at 2:30 p.m. on ESPN on Dec. 27.

Game Day Bus Trip Friday, Dec. 27 Depart Vanderbilt campus in the morning; return immediately following the game $55 plus fees (does not include game ticket)
