Crash involving semi, pickup truck closes I-40 East near downtown Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A crash involving a semi-truck and a pickup truck has closed Interstate 40 East near downtown Nashville on Wednesday afternoon.
The closure is near Demonbreun Street/Exit 209B on I-40 East. The exit ramp is also blocked in that area.
The crash was reported at about 3:22 p.m.
“Eastbound All Lanes Blocked, Exit Ramp Closed, Left Shoulder Blocked, Right Shoulder Blocked,” per TDOT’s SmartWay map.
