Vehicle hits I-40 overpass in Lebanon prompting inspection
A vehicle hauling construction equipment reportedly struck the bridge.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Lebanon Police Department issued a traffic alert on Thursday morning after an overpass was struck.
LPD reports that the right two lanes of Sparta Pike (southbound) will be shut down to allow for the Interstate 40 overpass to be inspected.
A vehicle hauling construction equipment reportedly struck the bridge.
“Traffic on I-40 isn’t affected at this time,” LPD said just before 11:30 a.m.
