Motorcyclist flown to Nashville after crash in Clarksville

The man was flown to TriStar Skyline Medical Center and his condition is stable.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Update: The Clarksville Police Department is asking the public for video of a wreck that injured a motorcyclist on Monday.

CPD reports that a motorcycle and car were involved in an accident in the area of Riverside Drive and McClure Street.

The motorcyclist, Nicholas Azevedo, was flown to TriStar Skyline Medical Center, where he is believed to be in stable condition, CPD said.

“The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and no additional details are available at this time,” CPD added. “Anyone who saw the incident or may have video footage is encouraged to contact Investigator Jacob Gadberry at (931) 648-0656, ext. 5221.”

Earlier: The Clarksville Police Department (CPD) is investigating a crash with injuries that may cause traffic delays on Monday afternoon.

CPD reports that officers are on the scene of an injury crash at Riverside Drive on McClure Street.

Northbound traffic is closed at this time.

“Crash Investigators are responding, and northbound traffic is closed. CPD asks the public to find alternate routes or be prepared for long delays,” CPD said.
