HOPKINSVILLE, Ky (WSMV) - Lockdowns have been lifted for multiple schools in the Hopkinsville area after a possible bomb threat, according to the Hopkinsville Police Department.

HPD said were investigating in the Koffman Drive area after a potential bomb threat made against Hopkinsville High School.

Police said a voicemail was left on a school district line Monday afternoon about a bomb threat and the voicemail was discovered Tuesday morning.

A primary and secondary sweep of the high school was conducted and nothing substantial was found, according to police.

Authorities said the threat came from a suspected swatting call.
