Trick-or-Treat Forecast: Timing out Halloween rain showers
Temperatures will cool off, too.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Some kiddos will need rain jackets or umbrellas with their costume this year.
A front is moving through the Midstate and will not only bring cooler temperatures through tomorrow, but also some much-need rain. However, the timing of the rain is less than ideal for Halloween plans this evening.
Showers should be pushing through the northwestern portion of the Midstate late morning into the early afternoon. Central areas like Nashville will start to see rain mid-afternoon around 3:00 P.M. and last into the evening. Our eastern counties should expect rain later around dinner time and last through the night.
These showers will linger into Friday morning for many. You can also expect temperatures to really cool down within 24 hours, as well. We’ll go from the upper 70s to low 80s Halloween afternoon to the low to mid 60s by Friday.
