Tennessee woman celebrates 105th birthday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A Tennessee woman is celebrating her 105th birthday.
Clairbel Herndon turned 105 on Tuesday, Jan. 7. She is a part of the 0.03% of the U.S. population that centenarians make up, according to the Pew Research Center.
She celebrated with her friends and family at Brookdale Senior Living where she resides in Jackson, TN. Jackson Mayor Scott Conger also stopped by to wish her a happy birthday.
Herndon was born on Jan. 7, 1920. Throughout her long life, she worked as a nurse at Jackson Clinic for 25 years and had four sons.
She still loves to attend church and play board games, the community said.
