Woman taken to Nashville hospital following collision with snowplow in Kentucky

The crash, in Kentucky, injured three people.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Three people were hospitalized following a collision between a snow plow and an SUV in Franklin, Kentucky.

The crash happened on Sunday, Jan. 5 around 8:44 a.m. at the intersection of Nashville Road and Macedonia Road.

According to the Franklin Police Department, the snowplow, driven by 68-year-old Thomas Link pulled out of Macedonia Road onto Nashville Road into the path of the SUV driven by Larry Daily, 89, of Portland TN.

Daily crashed into the plow and both he and his wife, Judith were injured. Judith and Larry were taken to a local hospital. Police said Judith was later transported to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.

Link was also injured during the crash. He was taken to a local hospital by private vehicle.

The Franklin Police Department along with Franklin Simpson EMS, Franklin Simpson Fire and the Simpson County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the scene.
