1 dead after 3-vehicle crash in Murfreesboro

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WSMV) - Update: One person has died following a multi-vehicle crash on NW Broad Street on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Murfreesboro Police Department.
“The crash is actively under investigation,” MPD said. “All lanes of traffic have re-opened.”
Earlier: The Murfreesboro Police Department is investigating a serious crash that shut down NW Broad Street on Wednesday afternoon.
MPD reports that NW Broad Street outbound near Interstate 840 is shut down due to the injury crash involving three cars.
Traffic is being diverted back toward the city, MPD said.
“Expect long traffic delays so, please find another route,” MPD added.
