Witness in Holly Bobo case sentenced to nearly 20 years in federal prison

Jason Autry has been back in the spotlight after videos show he admitted to lying about testimony in the Bobo trial.
The judge is currently considering if a hearing is now warranted.

JACKSON, Tenn. (WSMV) – The key witness in Holly Bobo’s murder trial was sentenced on federal gun charges on Monday.

Jason Autry, who has since recanted testimony that helped put Zach Adams behind in the murder of Bobo, was sentenced to 228 months, or 19 years in federal prison related to federal gun charges.

Federal agents raided his home in Humphreys County and found guns. Autry, a felon, is not allowed to have guns by law.

Autry has been back in the spotlight after videos show he admitted to lying about testimony in the Bobo trial.

Zach Adams, convicted in Bobo’s murder, is now trying to get a new trial.
