Franklin police identify driver in alleged road rage incident
The suspect left in what is believed to be a silver Toyota Tundra.
FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WSMV) – UPDATE: The driver has been identified, but police have not released his name. He’s being charged with a misdemeanor citation.
PREVIOUS: Franklin Police officers are searching for a man accused of assaulting a driver in what appears to be a road rage incident.
The alleged incident happened June 29 in a parking lot near Franklin Road and Moores Lane, according to the Franklin Police Department. The victim told police the unidentified suspect was upset that he had been cut off in traffic, approached the victim’s car window, and punched him in the face, causing pain and bruising to his mouth and eye area.
The suspect left in what is believed to be a silver Toyota Tundra.
The suspect is a white male, who was last seen wearing glasses, gray shorts, and a green Global Motorsports t-shirt.
