SPRING HILL, Tenn. (WSMV) – Two rabbits and two cats were rescued from a Spring Hill home during a fire on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Spring Hill Fire Department.

The fire department responded to the Ray Williams Neighborhood home at about 1:25 p.m. Smoke detectors alerted the residents of a fire in the garage area.

“Prompt action by the residents ensured a safe evacuation, with no injuries reported,” SHFD said, adding firefighters saving the rabbits and cats prevented any loss of life.
