Bellevue food pantry wants to fill ‘critical needs’ before food distribution
The food pantry cannot accept expired foods, dented, or rusted canned goods.
BELLEVUE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Bellevue Community Food Bank is looking for donations for its upcoming food distribution.
- Critical needs for the distribution on July 9 include:
- Oatmeal (65 boxes)
- Pasta sauce (39 jars – no cans please)
- Canned green beans (64 cans)
- Canned corn (58 cans)
- Canned green peas (72 cans)
- Canned chicken (58 cans)
- Canned cranberry sauce or pumpkin (88 cans)
- Jell-O – (79 boxes)
- Dry beans (73 bags)
- Rice (65 bags)
- Snacks (50 items) – cookies, chips, peanut butter crackers, oatmeal pies, pretzels, brownies, pudding cups, nuts, etc.
- Kid’s snacks (30 items) – individual bags of cookies, individual bags of potato chips, fruit snacks, raisins, fun-sized candy, juice boxes, ice pops, etc.
- Coffee (60 cans or pkgs) – no decaf
- Juice (60, 64-oz bottles) – apple or grape
- Paper towels (90 packages) – 1 or 2 roll individual packages only
- Toilet paper (90 packages) – 4 or 6 roll packages only
- Diapers - size 3, 4, 5 and 6 (2 packages each - Pampers or Huggies)
- Dry cat food (3 large bags)
- Dry dog food (3 large bags)
- Gift cards to Aldi’s, Kroger or Publix
The food pantry cannot accept expired foods, dented, or rusted canned goods, items not in original or opened packages, perishables, or extra-large canned goods.
You’re urged to drop off donations at the pantry’s donation cabinet located at the front entrance of Bellevue United Methodist Church, 7501 Old Harding Pike, no later than 2 p.m. on July 8.
