WAVERLY, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Humphreys County Humane Society needs fosters for some of its dogs as cold temperatures are approaching.

The humane society said it’s in need of fosters for 11 dogs that are outside in kennels that are exposed to the elements as all of its inside kennels are full.

This move comes as freezing temperatures are on the way to the Midstate.

“We are hoping for fosters to help until the 11th -we have a transport leaving that morning that will open indoor kennels,” the humane society said. “Please call the Waverly Animal Shelter during shelter hours or text Jenn @ 253-209-4925 and we will find the right dog for your home!”
