Beloved Smyrna custard, burger restaurant reopens after car crashed into building
“We are so blessed and we cannot wait to serve y’all soon.”
SMYRNA, Tenn. (WSMV) — A beloved restaurant in Smyrna is reopening its doors after a car crashed into its building in late November 2024.
Karin’s Kustard and Hamburgers announced it will be back in business on Jan. 3 from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
“We would like to thank everyone for being so patient while we put our business back together,” the restaurant touted in a Facebook post.
They also shouted out several businesses and others who helped them get back to serving custard and burgers to Smyrna.
We could not have done these repairs without:
- Brandon Baldwin Construction
- Jason + Tommy at TJ Electric
- Jerry Gann at MidSouth Cooling and Heating
- City of Smyrna Police Department
- City of Smyrna Codes
- My Husband, Brad Dyer
In November, the restaurant was forced to close during Thanksgiving week after a car crashed into its building.
“We are so beyond thankful for the outpouring of love and support from our community! We thank you all so much! God is so incredibly good and we ultimately want to thank Him! We are so blessed and we cannot wait to serve y’all soon.”
