Emilee Miranda joined 13 News in January 2023.
Emilee is originally from Fontana, California, but is no stranger to Arizona.
She graduated from Arizona State University with her Master’s in Mass Communication in 2022. Prior to graduation, Emilee interned with Cronkite News in Los Angeles and Washington D.C.
During both her internships, she was a broadcast reporter focused on covering politics and health related stories. During her studies, Emilee also spent time in Tapachula, Mexico reporting on migration for the Cronkite Borderlands Project. Some of her favorite stories covered include the Ninth Summit of the Americas, the 2022 Senate race for USA Today, and immigration.
When she is not reporting, you can find her attending a Broadway show, traveling with her family, or trying out a new restaurant.
Emilee is looking forward to connecting with the community and telling stories important to Southern Arizona.
