GEODIS Park selected to host 2025 FIFA Club World Cup game
32 teams from six international clubs will participate in this inaugural event.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Nashville’s GEODIS Park has been selected as one of 12 venues to host a 2025 FIFA Club World Cup game, according to Mayor Freddie O’Connell.
32 teams from six international clubs — including AFC, CAF, Concacaf, CONMEBOL, OFC, and UEFA — will participate in this inaugural event. The teams will compete in 62 matches over 29 days.
“We’ve had world-class soccer on our stage before, but never quite like this. I’m so excited for our passionate soccer fans, and we can’t wait to welcome the world’s best teams to Music City,” said Mayor Freddie O’Connell.
The tournament will span from June 15 until July 13.
