Christmas in July Bike Drive to benefit the Last Minute Toy Store
Come by and say hi and donate a bike to brighten a child’s Christmas
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) -The second annual Christmas in July Bike Drive starts tomorrow and continues through Saturday. This is your chance to do your holiday shopping early to put a shiny new bike under the tree for a child in need this holiday.
This year’s bike drive will be at Academy Sports in Madison this Friday and Saturday (July 26 and 27). You can drop off a new bike or helmet for LMTS either day. The hours are Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 8am-1pm. Bikes will be available at Academy for purchase to donate. There is a coupon available to use toward bikes.
All the donated bikes go to the Last Minute Toy Store. As the name suggested this is the last opportunity for some parents to get help delivering Christmas gifts for their children. These are families who haven’t received assistance from any other Christmas charity.
Bikes are a big ticket item so join up with a neighbor, friends, club, Sunday school class or organization and purchase a bike together. If shopping is not your thing, feel free to make a donation to the Last Minute Toy Store at https://www.lastminutetoystore.com/
