Shrimp and Grit Entrée

Ingredients:

  • Jumbo Shrimp, Tasso Ham Gravy, Peppers, Onions, Stone Ground Grits 
  • 9 ea. Shrimp
  • 1 oz. Red Pepper, Julienne
  • 1 oz. Green Pepper, Julienne
  • 2 oz.  Onion, Yellow, Julienne
  • 3 fl. oz. Tasso Ham Gravy
  • 4 fl. oz. Heavy Cream
  • 1 oz. Butter, Unsalted
  • 2 tsp. Salt and Pepper Mix
  • 1 fl. oz.  Oil, Blend
  • 6 oz. Pepperjack Grits
  • 1 tbs. Green Onion, Minced

Instructions:

  • Add oil, heat, peppers and onions, then sweat for 1 min.
  • Add shrimp, tasso and cream, and reduce finish with butter.
  • Serve over grits, with shrimp fanned around the grits.
