Shrimp and Grit Entrée
Ingredients:
- Jumbo Shrimp, Tasso Ham Gravy, Peppers, Onions, Stone Ground Grits
- 9 ea. Shrimp
- 1 oz. Red Pepper, Julienne
- 1 oz. Green Pepper, Julienne
- 2 oz. Onion, Yellow, Julienne
- 3 fl. oz. Tasso Ham Gravy
- 4 fl. oz. Heavy Cream
- 1 oz. Butter, Unsalted
- 2 tsp. Salt and Pepper Mix
- 1 fl. oz. Oil, Blend
- 6 oz. Pepperjack Grits
- 1 tbs. Green Onion, Minced
Instructions:
- Add oil, heat, peppers and onions, then sweat for 1 min.
- Add shrimp, tasso and cream, and reduce finish with butter.
- Serve over grits, with shrimp fanned around the grits.
