Man injured in crash while clearing roads in Simpson County
Tommy Link is set to have surgery Monday.
SIMPSON CO., Ky. (WSMV) - A man was injured in a crash while clearing roads in Kentucky, according to the Simpson County Sheriff’s Office.
SCSO said Tommy Link was involved in an accident on Sunday while clearing county roads.
While details of the crash and his injuries were not shared, the sheriff’s office said Link is scheduled to have surgery on Monday morning.
SCSO said expressed their thanks and prayers for Link’s recovery saying:
“Sending heartfelt prayers for Tommy Link, who was involved in an accident this morning while working to clear our county roads. His dedication to our community is truly admirable. He is scheduled for surgery in the morning. Special love to his niece, Tracy, who recently retired from the Sheriff’s Office.”
