Stacey Cameron is an Investigative Reporter at WSMV4.
In a career spanning two decades, Stacey has been honored with the Sigma Delta Chi Bronze Medallion, seven Regional Edward R. Murrow awards, six Regional EMMY awards, and three Associated Press Reporter of the Year awards. His investigations have changed laws in Louisiana, Kansas, and Missouri, forced high-ranking politicians and law enforcement officials to resign in Louisiana and Oklahoma, and exposed safety hazards inside West Virginia coal mines.
Before joining WSMV4, Stacey was the Chief Investigative Reporter for KSLA News 12 in Shreveport, LA. Earlier in his career, he also covered the news and broke investigations in San Antonio, TX, Kansas City, Mo., Raleigh, N.C., Oklahoma City, OK, and Charleston, WV.
Before his journalism career, Stacey practiced law in Cincinnati, St. Louis, and New York City, litigating constitutional, trademark, and copyright matters before federal and state bars.
Stacey holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science and criminal justice from Indiana University, a Juris Doctor from Syracuse University, and a Master of Laws in intellectual property from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City. Stacey also studied broadcast journalism at Ohio University but left the program seven credits shy of receiving his Master's degree to take his first job in broadcasting at WCHS-TV in Charleston, WV. Six months later, he was field anchoring his station’s breaking news coverage of the Sago mine disaster that killed 12 men in Upshur County, WV.
Away from the world of investigative journalism, Stacey is married to his beautiful wife, Christie, and he is the father of three precious daughters: Brooklynn, Gabrielle, and Cecilia.

To carry under the new law, teachers must first obtain 40 hours of gun training, and undergo both a background check and a psychological evaluation.

“I looked down at my phone and I had an email stating that I was deceased, and my account was closed,” said Bernard. “So, that kind of had me distraught.”
The only visible work done by NDOT was orange and white barriers placed in front of five of the damaged safety systems.
The order blocks all parties from filing as part of the record in the case. Copies of three pages were leaked online by a podcaster in November.
