Karin Contreras worked with Blanca Orellana. Contreras told WSMV4, she met Blanca and immediately knew her as an extraordinary person who was always happy and willing to help.
Contreras says they didn’t know each other for a long time, but with Blanca, friendship came easy.
They exchanged numbers and social media and started communicating. From there, the pair’s friendship grew, Contreras said.
And even when they started working in different places at work, Contreras says she never felt the distance because Orellana would always send her messages saying, “I miss you.”
Since learning about her disappearance, that’s what she misses the most. Contreras said, “Her messages. Her messages are missed. She aways called me too.”
Orellana was last seen on Aug. 18 and was reported missing by her mother on Aug. 21. MNPD said the 23-year-old is described as 5′2″ tall and 120 pounds with brown eyes with a small scar under her chin.
Now, Contreras is hoping for the best. She said, “I always think of positive things i don’t know, but I’m hoping she’s okay.”
