New imaging center to help serve the Bordeaux community
The new facility will provide CT scans, MRIs, and even mammograms to the Bordeaux area.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) -Nashville General Hospital will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new imaging center on Wednesday, August 7th.
Health leaders said the new Nashville Healthcare Diagnostic Imaging at 4007 Clarksville Pike will provide CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and advanced 3D mammograms.
Their goal is to enhance healthcare access to residents who live in the Bordeaux area of Nashville and surrounding areas.
Several lawmakers are expected to attend the ribbon-cutting, including Senator Heidi Campbell, and Rep. Vincent Dixie. The ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m.
Nashville health officials said the Bordeaux area of North Nashville has long been considered a “healthcare desert” and the new center will help residents access much-needed care.
