Search underway for missing Sumner County teen
The 15-year-old boy has a form of autism and was last seen on Sunday.
HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The search continues Tuesday for a missing and endangered teenager in Sumner County.
Sebastian Wayne Drake Rogers, 15, is missing from the Beech area of Hendersonville, and was last seen Sunday in the area of Beech and Shackle Island, near Long Hollow Pike.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued an Endangered Child Alert and subsequent Amber Alert over his disappearance, as Rogers has a form of autism.
“Based on additional investigative information developed during the search for Sebastian, an AMBER alert is being issued,” the TBI wrote on X.
Rogers is 5 foot 5 inches tall, 120 pounds, and has dirty blond hair. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and black sweatpants, investigators said.
Crews in Sumner County have been canvassing the area around Rogers’ home and are using horses, K-9s, helicopters, and divers in their search.
Investigators said that Rogers is known to love to hide.
