Artists from around the country get to showcase their work during the ‘Art on the West Side’ event.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - If you are looking to add a little culture and creativity to your weekend, you might want to check out the 10th annual “Art on the West Side” event.
It is happening on Saturday and Sunday at the Gordon Jewish Community Center on Percy Warner Blvd.
Artists from all over the country will be putting their creations on display, but it’s not just paintings, they will have everything from jewelry and pottery to glasswork and fiber arts.
“You know you always hear, ‘There’s something for everyone,’ but at this show there really, really is,” said Nashville artics Martha Nemer. “There is art from $25 to $10,000. There’s something for everyone here, every medium. It’s just a great show.”

The event goes from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday and then from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
For entry on Saturday, there is a suggested donation of $15.
The event on Sunday is free, and you do not need a ticket to attend.
