Schools operating on a delay over weather concerns
Some Mid State school districts are operating on a delay Wednesday due to inclement weather.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A handful of school districts across Middle Tennessee are on a two-hour delay today as wintry weather moves into the area.

So far, Clay County, Jackson County, Overton County and Van Buren County schools are all opening two hours late on Wednesday.
Clay County Schools warned possible black ice and snowy conditions prompted the delay there.
Overton County Schools announced possible black ice and snow conditions were cause for concern there as well.
Fentress County Schools posted on Facebook that it will operate on a two hour delay and make a final decision regarding the rest of the school day by 8:00 am.
