Semi crashes into woods in Montgomery County

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A semi landed in a wooded embankment following a crash in Montgomery County, according to Dash 10 Media.
The crash happened near Fit Shop 24/7 where Highway 149 intersects with Highways 48 and 13, the outlet reported.
The driver of the semi had to be extricated. Crews used a rope system to pull the patient up the embankment before they were flown to Nashville for treatment, according to Dash 10 Media.
Firefighters from Cunningham, Palmyra and Saint Bethlehem responded along with crews from Montgomery County EMS and Montgomery County EMA.
