Breland mixing country music and sports

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - It’s NFL championship weekend and this year country music artist Breland has been predicting the matchups on the road to the Super Bowl in a fun way.

The videos he’s posted on TikTok has caught the attention of millions, and his predictions weren’t half bad.

In his on style and through music, Breland picked week in and week out who he thought would win in the NFL playoffs and who’s season would be over. He said his decision was easy.

“I feel like bridging the gap between music and sports is something that I’m uniquely capable of doing.” Breland said. “So I thought, hey let me do some playoff predictions, throw it into a kind of cross country musical style and throw some bars in there and see what happens.”

It didn’t take long for it to go viral, getting a huge response from both music fans and sports fans alike.

“The response on that has been pretty incredible. You know millions of views on each of the videos I’ve done and some televised support as well.” Breland said.

Breland has been featured on ESPN giving his predictions, and he’s been pretty spot on with his picks.

“I mean between the first 2 rounds of the playoffs I’m 8 for 10. I really would say 8 for 9 because I had to say the Eagles.” Breland said. “I didn’t really think, that’s my hometown team. I really didn’t think they were gonna win, but I couldn’t come out and say I don’t know if we are really gonna win this one. But really every Eagles fan, we were all skeptical, but I had to say that but I would say for unbiased picks, I am 8 for 9.”

This week, Breland announced that he will be hosting his annual Breland and Friends concert that benefits The Oasis Center at the Ryman Auditorium on March 26.
