Screening of ‘The M Factor: Shredding the Silence on Menopause’ held at Belcourt Theater

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Nashville’s Belcourt Theater hosted a free screening on Thursday of the first documentary produced in the United States to help the 55 million women currently experiencing menopause.
Dozens of women turned out to watch “The M Factor: Shredding the Silence on Menopause,” followed by a panel discussion with a local OBGYN and the film’s producers.
The film highlights the physical and emotional impact of menopause on women’s lives, a life stage often surrounded by silence and misinformation.
Franklin podcast hosts Colleen Rosenblum and Bridgett Garratt hosted and moderated the event.
“The M Factor: Shredding the Silence on Menopause” was released in October.
Thursday night’s event was sponsored by HerMD, a comprehensive women’s health practice based on Franklin.
