Nashville native appears in ‘Glamour Magazine‘s’ ‘College Women of the Year.’
Madison Newbell is studying aerospace engineering with a concentration in astronautics.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A Nashville native recently made appearance on “Glamour Magazine’s” website.
Madison Newbell attended high school in Nashville and is now a senior at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Newbell is studying aerospace engineering with a concentration in astronautics.
She said she chose her school before picking her major and found out she was really passionate about the aerospace industry.
Newbell said her cousin inspired her to apply for the opportunity to be featured as one of Glamour’s ‘College Women of the Year.’
The college senior already has four internships under her belt and said she’s not slowing down when it comes to furthering her education.
“From internships to career development events, to just doing stuff on campus, making new friends, the whole Glamour thing just, everything seems to be coming to fruition.”
Newbell said her goal is to start a non-profit organization.
